We are facing a continued increase in divorce, family problems and personal adjustment. We live in a world that is increasingly individualistic. It appears that everyone is troubled about himself/herself. Adolescent girls have lost the joy of youth by early sexual activity and weight obsession. Children are shuffled from one home to the next. Many men suffer from inadequate male role models.

Jesus cares about the intimate details of your life. If He notices even a sparrow falling to the ground, how much more does he care about your problems? Jesus will help you with all emotional issues.

With Jesus there is Eternal Joy. Being a Christian does not make life any easier. In fact, sometimes it gets harder. Jesus never promised an easy life for his followers. What he did promise was peace, internal satisfaction, and rest.

Psalm 9:9-10 "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you."

Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth upon Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -John 3:16
