Anger
- How do you feel when you get angry?
- Has your anger made you hit someone before? Or do you bottle it up inside until you are seething?
- Do you find that it is uncontrollable?
- Would you like to be able to not project your anger on other people?
Everyone gets angry from time to time. In fact, the Bible records Jesus getting angry on a few occasions. Anger becomes a problem when it is uncontrolled and you react to anger in the wrong way.
The Bible says, "My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires." James 1:19-20
Ephesians 4:26-27 notes that, "In your anger do not sin: do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold."
Proverbs 29:11, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control."
Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh words stirs up anger."
If you feel anger let the Lord be your salvation. Pray now to accept Jesus Christ.
