Loneliness
- Do you feel like you are all alone? That no one in the world cares for you?
- Like you have to buy the friendship of people?
- Have you been in a crowded room and felt like you were the only person there?
- Have you ever lain in bed and cried yourself to sleep because you feel like no one cares?
- Is there a hollow place in your heart that nothing seems to fill?
Jesus cares! He loves you and wants to be your best friend.
When you accept Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior you gain the world's best friend ever.
Jesus will never leave nor forsake you! God is always with you.
Psalm 139:8-10 says, "If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast."
All you have to do is acknowledge the presence of God. He is there anyway and by your acknowledging His presence you can have a relationship.
Sometimes God has to remove all of our friends until we are desperate enough to seek Him. His heart hurts when we do not respond to His friendship. The entire reason that God created mankind in the Garden of Eden was to have people to talk to.
Psalm 68:6 "God sets the lonely in families; he leads forth the prisoners with singing."
"But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." Luke 5:16
Jesus knows what it is like to be lonely. When He was on the earth He was deserted by all of His friends as He died on the cross.
Genesis 2:18 "The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
God recognizes that it is not good for us to be by ourselves. He ordained marriage so that we would have a partner through life. He puts us in families. When we become children of God we join in the family of God.
If you feel lonely let the Lord be your salvation. Pray now to accept Jesus Christ.
